Who is the training program intended for?

The training program is intended for those who want to experience, feel, learn, and eventually give and spread life-changing tools from the worlds of breathing, therapy, movement, and touch.

We are looking for you - those for whom giving to others provides meaning, out of a belief that every person has the capacity for self-healing given the right tools and space.

We are looking for you - those who want to embark on an inner journey and an adventure of self-exploration of the emotional world around you.
We are looking for those who are ready to step out of their comfort zone and seek change in their lives.
Those who want to remove the masks and defenses and learn how to give to others and to themselves.

If you want to develop in new and fascinating directions, have an inner passion for a different kind of learning and an acquaintance with the broad world of breathing, or if you are interested in learning an additional, accessible, and horizon-expanding tool for use in the clinic and workshops - we would love to meet you.

The program is also intended for those who do not come from the world of therapy, and is also suitable for those with a therapeutic background (in breath therapy or otherwise) who wish to deepen their knowledge, understanding, and therapeutic experience.

Admission to the training program is subject to personal suitability interviews with the Breath Therapy Institute team.

We emphasize building a foundation of a protected, stable, and enabling therapeutic relationship. On creating a safe space where patients can meet themselves, connect with their inner world, and embark on a journey of exploration and development. The therapeutic space we create offers an opportunity to dive inward according to each individual's pace, choice, and readiness.

In our view, there is no destination to "reach," and nothing that "must happen." There is a shared path that we walk together with the patient, at a pace that suits them.

Based on years of experience showing that practicing gentle and regulated breathing has a beneficial and powerful effect, we believe in a gentle invitation to shared exploration, rather than applying pressure or pushing for processes that are not yet ripe. Therefore, during the training, we will learn and practice an organized and clear 10-step methodology for managing a breathing session; this methodology allows for safe, sensitive, trauma-informed, gradual, and personalized work for each patient.

Breath therapy is a powerful tool, penetrating deeply and sometimes bypassing defense mechanisms. Consequently, we are committed to caution, sensitivity, and ethics—not only in how breathing is utilized, but also in words, presence, and everything that occurs within the therapeutic space.

We will learn to work within the patient's "window of tolerance," identify deviations from it, and know how to regulate the process in a beneficial and safe manner. We will acquire tools to create a deep connection between the person and their body, and to teach emotional and physical regulation through breathing.

We view the therapeutic process as a long-term, collaborative work on our relational patterns and on a gradual, tailored entry inward.

We emphasize the importance of integration between the breathing process and daily life, so that the therapeutic work does not remain within the confines of the room, but accompanies the person on their life journey. The training provides tools for a process-oriented and gradual treatment over time, enabling significant and life-changing deep processes built on a stable, supportive, and holding ground.

We operate from a standpoint that does not seek to "fix" or change the patient, but to see the good in them just as they are. The work is trauma-informed and relies on identifying and strengthening the patient's resources, and on using breathing itself as a central resource for healing, regulation, and development.

During the studies, we will acquire the ability to hold individual and group breathing spaces with confidence, while gaining a deep understanding of breathing processes and gas exchange and their physiological, emotional, and cognitive effects.

As part of the training, we will practice breathing as a therapeutic tool that integrates naturally with a variety of additional therapeutic approaches and methods.

The space of breathing studies together with the group, for me it's the safest home there can be, and that says it all - a natural feeling, that I can be who I am and what I am now, an experience of great love, that the heart is out, that there's nowhere to go. A space that lets the soul and self appear in all its splendor, in its hills and ravines.

This year I was given all the practical tools to be a high confidence therapist, with all the knowledge required along with a growing and fulfilling personal journey.

There are no words to thank for this amazing space. The heart dances and says thank you thank you thank you.

Harel Dominić

This year was significant for me in several respects: I learned a gentle, powerful and in-depth therapeutic tool that I can go on the road and treat with it, in addition to other tools. I went through a profound, liberating, life-changing process. I learned practical breathing tools for my day to day. It is recommended as a personal experience, an additional therapeutic tool for therapists, a powerful first tool for those interested in treatment.

Ariella Alik Lev

When we cease to exist someday, our breathing will cease. Until then, we will embrace her for our sacrifice, learn from her, experience her as she would like us to do. I wholeheartedly recommend, to each and every one, a journey through your own recesses on top of the rewarding good breath. Breathing as a resource in the personal experiential and therapeutic aspect.

Lior Lederer

I went on a journey through breathing. I discovered a whole world of healing and mission. I recommend everyone who seeks the development of the heart and also for those who want to change their profession or career direction, to embark on a personal, conscious journey, under the most professional and wise hands that one can ask for.

Lee Donice

The school year of breathing therapy is a year of getting back to yourself, body, mind and soul. A year in which I accepted the breath as an anchor that is not limited in anything, an anchor for perpetual and free use in any situation and challenge.Once this anchor was assimilated, I was given the tools to work with people, to convey their breath to them, and to dive with them into the depths of the soul and the subconscious. He who breathes well, lives well.

Ran Berk

Choosing to deepen your breath is a gift for life. I am very happy about my choice to enter this school year. I went through a significant process and the work with breathing came in and affected every aspect of life. Knowledge was accessed at eye level, alongside experiences and experiences in a contained and contained space, a combination of professionalism and sensitivity at a higher level that I experienced.
