Certification Program for Breath Therapists
Deepening Year (Year 2)

The curriculum of the deepening year (Year 2) of the School for Training Breath Therapists focuses on continuing the deep process and personal development combined with breathing, together with theoretical learning and the expansion of therapeutic training and practical practice.

The curriculum is intended for graduates of Year 1 of the Breath Therapy Institute. Graduates of other schools who wish to join are invited to contact us and undergo an introduction and suitability process.

We emphasize building a foundation of a protected and enabling therapeutic relationship, and creating a safe space where patients can meet themselves, connect with their inner world, and embark on a journey of exploration and development. The therapeutic space we create offers an opportunity to dive inward according to each individual's pace, choice, and readiness.

In the program, we will learn various contents from the worlds of breathing, trauma work, as well as deepening the therapist-patient relationship and building a long-term and gradual therapeutic process in breathing, establishing breathing as a resource in the patient's life.

As part of the training, we will practice breathing as a therapeutic tool that integrates naturally with a variety of additional therapeutic approaches and methods, and we will acquire the ability to hold individual and group breathing spaces with confidence, while gaining a deep understanding of breathing processes and their physical, cognitive, and emotional effects.

The academic year includes workshops and experiential experiences, together with professional, comprehensive, practical, and fascinating training.

The annual curriculum includes 280 study hours: 31 weekly sessions of 5.5 hours each session, as well as a four-day experiential retreat in the desert.

Academic year opening date: October 2026

Morning course in the Center - Mondays 9:00-14:30 (Moshav Adanim, near Hod Hasharon)

Second-year students share

Year 2 is an in-depth year both at the professional level and at the level of personal development of the materials that are touched upon. Case stories, the group getting stronger, the support from the team and the members of the group, all really magnify, bring more points of view, open up the consciousness. Second year is mandatory to become a respiratory therapist.

Adi Sharib

Respiratory therapy studies are much more than breathing therapy studies. They are a personal journey deep into myself. They are a journey into the wondrous world of breathing. I highly recommend BTI, a place that is a home for caregivers who have studied, is an anchor and support down the road as therapists, and it conducts responsible and in-depth curricula. In my opinion, this is one of the best places in the world to study respiratory therapy.

Tovit Yigal

The year of deepening has made me assimilate breathing in my life on an ongoing basis and also feel confident to take a step and start making it accessible to others, in personal/couple therapies or group workshops and lectures. LEARNING HAPPENED IN MANY LAYERS - IN CONTENT THAT WAS RIGHT TO REPEAT AND DEEPEN, IN NEW CONTENT, IN OUR EXPERIENCE WITH COUPLES IN EACH LESSON, IN PROCESSING CASE STUDIES, BUT NOT LEAST IN WORKING WITH WHAT CAME OUT OF THE GROUP IN THE SAME SESSION. The team was attentive to us all the time, felt what was right at the moment and made adjustments accordingly. It was a year of significant personal development for me - a lot of things moved in my personal and professional life, much thanks to this weekly pulse of learning, experience, a team going through something together, and an inclusive and leading team.

Limor Lior

Breathing therapy studies are a powerful tool to know myself, meet me and my fears and also make a way with them. The breath accompanies me always, everywhere, it is an anchor, it is everything. The study space is super supportive, very contains and facilitates development.

Olga Primakov

A course that goes far beyond study -- it's an invitation to a life-changing journey and without a doubt one of the best decisions I've ever taken -- a journey of deepening, contemplation and learning, that has opened up inner doors for me that I didn't know existed. A deep and meaningful personal process, along with precise and humane professional training, and a group of friends and girlfriends on the road and life that have helped me make a difference in so many aspects of my life. The breath, the studies, the staff and the community are an integral part of who I am today.

Tomer Amiel

The year of deepening allowed me to further deepen my consciousness and knowledge. Working with such a basic and important tool that, beyond studying it, it allows entry into an internal depth process and gives training to handle. In the crazy time we live in today, I feel that one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves is breathing and engaging with it. In-depth and interesting studies, with professional staff at the highest levels.
